TERMS OF USE

Terms built for informed approval.

These terms govern access to the Mint interface, collection creation tools, minting experience, and marketplace preview.

Counsel-review draftThis beta text is an operational starting point, not completed legal advice. Operator identity, governing law, jurisdiction restrictions, and verified contact addresses must be approved before mainnet.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing Mint, connecting a wallet, creating a collection, or submitting a transaction, you agree to these Terms. You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and may not use Mint where access to NFT or digital-asset services is prohibited.

Final age, residency, sanctions, and geographic eligibility rules will be inserted after jurisdictional counsel review and enforced before mainnet access.

2. Non-custodial service

Mint is designed as a non-custodial interface. You control your wallet, keys, assets, and transaction approvals. Mint will never ask for a seed phrase or private key. Blockchain transactions are initiated by you and cannot ordinarily be reversed by Mint.

3. Fees and royalties

Every primary mint has a creator-set price and is subject to a 2% platform fee on mint proceeds. Mint does not offer zero-priced free-mint phases. Network gas is separate. Every production transaction must display the contract, network, item or collection, quantity, price, platform fee, royalty information, and estimated gas before wallet approval.

Collections specify a fixed 15% ERC-2981 creator royalty. ERC-2981 communicates royalty information but does not force every marketplace to pay it. Actual royalty payment depends on the marketplace executing the secondary sale.

4. Creator responsibilities

Creators must own or possess all necessary rights to artwork, metadata, names, descriptions, and linked content; provide accurate collection information; avoid deceptive or infringing content; secure creator and administrator wallets; and comply with applicable tax, consumer-protection, sanctions, securities, intellectual-property, and other laws.

5. Marketplace and third parties

Wallets, RPC providers, Arweave, block explorers, bridges, marketplaces, and blockchain networks are third-party systems. Their availability and conduct are outside Mint’s control. A displayed listing, collection, or verification indicator is not an investment recommendation or guarantee of authenticity, value, or legal status.

6. Prohibited conduct

You may not exploit the service, bypass access controls, submit malicious files or contracts, manipulate markets or activity metrics, impersonate others, infringe rights, launder funds, evade sanctions, distribute malware, or use Mint for unlawful activity.

7. Risks and no advice

NFTs and blockchain transactions involve substantial technical, market, liquidity, custody, tax, and regulatory risk. Mint does not provide investment, legal, accounting, or tax advice. Read the separate Risk Disclosures before approving any transaction.

8. Availability and changes

Beta features may change, fail, or be withdrawn. Mint may restrict access to protect users, comply with law, or respond to security incidents. Smart contracts described as immutable cannot be modified after deployment.

9. Warranty and liability draft

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. Final warranty exclusions, liability limits, indemnity language, dispute procedures, governing law, operator legal name, and service address require jurisdiction-specific counsel approval before these Terms can govern a mainnet release.

10. Contact

Product support and incident guidance are available through the Support & Incidents page. Do not send private keys, seed phrases, or passwords.
